ROBINS Class from Smannell and Enham C.E Primary School visited Kenyons Fruit and Veg in Andover to support learning about healthy food and healthy lifestyles.
The children learned about different fruit and vegetables, including ones they had never seen before.
The youngsters were taught where it came from, how it gets to the shop, how best to keep them and about who buys them. There was even an opportunity to sample some of the goods.
Georgina Mobaraki, Reception/Year 1 class teacher, said: “The children were buzzing with excitement.
There was lots of discussion and much clearer perceptions of what foods were healthy on our return.
“We would like to say a huge thank you to Kenyons.”
