A NINETEEN-year-old has died after a crash in Tidworth.
A silver Mazda MX5 convertible was being driven along the C389 Station Road, from Tidworth to Perham Down, at 6.30pm on Monday (11) when it struck the nearside verge. This caused the car to overturn and hit a tree.
The 19-year-old passenger, from Exeter, died of fatal injuries while the driver, a man from Peterborough, was taken to Salisbury District Hospital with serious head injuries.
The road was closed for more than five hours while the Wiltshire Police Serious Collision Investigation Team examined the scene.
