POLICE are appealing for information after an attempted robbery in Tidworth.
In the early hours of Sunday, 29 December, a 32-year-old local man was walking along the footpath between St Andrews Road and Lowa Road.
He was pushed into the perimeter fence of Tidworth Camp by a man who held a s h a r p i m p l e - ment to his face.
T h e m a n demanded that the vict i m e m p t y his pockets.
A s e c o n d m a n s t o o d watching while the incident was happening and when nothing was found the two men ran off together towards St Andrews Road.
The victim was shaken by the incident and sustained a cut to his face which required hospital treatment.
The first man is described as white, 5ft 11in, with short, dark, messy hair and stubble.
He was of average build and aged in his late 20s/early 30s.
He was wearing a black coat and dark coloured jeans.
The second male was white, a few inches taller than the first man and slightly younger.
He was of slim build and was wearing a dark coloured top, blue jeans, and white trainers.
