ANDOVER Business Park’s historic links with the RAF look set to be commemorated with a significant amount of public art on the site near the A303.

Councillors meeting on Wednesday for the TVBC Cabinet are expected to give a green light to the proposal for £88,000 worth of public art on the site – formerly home to RAF Andover.

The council secured £107,000 for public art as part of the deal with Goodmans to develop the business park in 2007.

The theme for the artwork will be ‘Flight and Navigation’ and the council hopes that the ‘deep historic associations still resonate with residents in Andover’.
