A HUSBAND and wife will shave their heads to raise money for research into myeloma.
Iain and Alma Coull will be shaving their hair off at The Royal British Legion Club, in Osborne Road, on Saturday, 8 March, between 7pm and 8pm.
It comes after Alma was diagnosed with myeloma last year and is now preparing for a stem cell transplant.
Because the chemotherapy treatment will cause her hair to fall out, Alma has organised the sponsored head shave for both herself and her husband, with money going to charity Myeloma UK, which funds research into bone marrow cancer.
The following day Alma’s treatment will begin at Southampton General Hospital.
The couple would like people to go along to the event and help by donating to Myeloma UK by visiting JustGiving.com and typing in Alma Coull.
