A READER has told us that the first cuckoo of the season has been heard in Andover Carolyn Hammond, said: "I have just been privileged to hear the sound of the Cuckoo – Have any of your other readers reported hearing this? "I know it is not that early and could just be one passing through but it was lovely to hear it. "We live near the Ladies Walk and it appeared to be coming from further over."
