CONCERN is growing for the welfare of a missing man from Andover.

45-year-old Mark Lavery was reported missing from his home address in Suffolk Road just before midday on Sunday, 18 May.

Mark had been on a weekend break to Selsey with family and friends but left in his car at around 4am on Sunday.

His car was found at his home address but Mark has not been seen since.

This is described as totally out of character by his family leading them to be very worried about his welfare.

An extensive search has been carried out by teams of specialist officers - along with police dogs and volunteers from Hampshire Search and Rescue - in the Andover area which has been concentrated on places which Mark may have travelled to.

Detective Sergeant Andy Hawkins said: "Mark has left home without his mobile phone and car and is not believed to have very much money with him.

"I would urge the public to get in touch if they think they may have seen Mark as any possible sightings could be vital in our search to locate him."

Mark is described as a white man, 5ft 10 tall, with fluffy short brown hair and blue eyes. He also has a mole in the middle of his forehead and a tattoo on the top of his right arm with two names in a heart with a dagger through it.

Anyone who may have seen Mark should contact the police by calling 101.
