A VILLAGE has been adorned with scarecrow characters for its annual competition.

Shipton Bellinger residents have been busy creating their characters to decorate the school, church, shops and homes across the village.

Pre-school children got together to create a caterpillar scarecrow while a straw-stuffed vicar stands outside the local church.

Other efforts can also be admired dotted around the village.
