AN ANDOVER teenager has been reported missing.

Officers are concerned about 12-year-old Ines Freitas from Andover after her parents contacted police on Sunday, 22 June afternoon.

The most recent confirmed sighting of Ines was at Festival Place, in Basingstoke, where she was seen on CCTV at around 4.15pm on Sunday.

Detective Inspector Amanda Horsburgh of Hampshire Constabulary said: "Several lines of enquiries are being followed to find Ines.

“Our thanks to Ines’s family, local businesses, partner agencies and public transport operators for their assistance with the investigation so far.

“There is no information to confirm Ines is a victim of crime or suspected of any wrongdoing.

"One line of enquiry is that Ines could be with a friend, but we are clearly concerned about Ines due to her age.

“I am appealing directly to Ines to contact her family or police to let us know her location, and that she is safe and well.

“Anyone who has seen Ines or who knows her whereabouts is also asked to contact police by phoning 101. Mini-com users can call 18001 101.

Ines is described as white, 5 ft 1 in tall with dark hair and was last seen wearing a brown and pink top, floral pattern trousers and light-coloured trainers.
