Winner of £1,000 prize
OVERTON Recreation Centre has announced the latest winner of its monthly cash prize draw.
Freda Robinson was the lucky winner of £1,000, with £2,000 total prize money on offer each month.
The registered charity runs recreational facilities in the village and used the prize draw to help raise funds for its activities.
These include three pavilions and over 30 acres of green space.
Freda was one of the founding members of the charity back in the 1960s and as the charity approaches its 50th anniversary, it is working hard to maintain its unique provision with monthly prizes.
