A CHURCH will be hosting a First World War exhibition during the month of August.
The Somborne and District Society will present the exhibition to commemorate the 100th anniversary.
Mary Pollock and Norman Denison have produced an 80-page booklet following extensive research while St Peter and St Paul’s Church, in King’s Somborne, will have a huge number of written displays on show for all of August, including stories from those in the community who fought and died in the conflicts. There will also be various artefacts on display in the church every Saturday between 10am and 12pm and on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2pm to 4pm.
