MORE than 4,000 responses have been received in the first six weeks of a consultation on what people would like in future from their local Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs).

But Hampshire County Council wants even more small businesses and residents to have their say.

It is looking at different options for running the HWRC service, partly in response to further reductions in Government funding but also to see how a modern, value-for-money service can best be achieved.

The HWRC survey is online at hants.gov.uk/recycling, at local libraries, council offices or by calling 0845 603 5634 and requesting a copy to be posted. Completed forms need to be returned to the council no later than Friday, 22 August.
