IT wasn’t only the four legged competitors that were claiming prizes at the Hampshire Greyhound Rescue Dog Show on Saturday.
The event attracted a lot of interest and this year was held at Finkley Down on the eastern side of the town.
As well as the competition for dogs the Andover based not-for-profit organisation had been well supported by generous local donors with raffle prizes including a double two draw divan bed from International Furniture, five chances of a free haircut at Chris’ Barber Shop, a meal for two from the Town Mills and bottle of whisky courtesy of the Foresters Arms in Andover.
The organisation provides care for the welfare of Greyhounds across Hampshire but the dog show was open to allcomers.
