SAINSBURY’S stores in Andover will be supporting Guide Dogs as their latest charity of the year.
The supermarket hopes to raise enough funds over the year to name a guide dog puppy.
Local volunteer fundraising organiser, Denise Timms said: “We are delighted to be partnered with Sainsbury’s for this coming year.
“To mark the start of fundraising for Guide Dogs, we held a launch event on Tuesday, 19 August where Sainsbury’s staff met our local guide dogs in training and took part in some blindfold activities.”
Guide Dogs supports over 4,500 blind and partially sighted people to remain mobile and independent with a range of services.
