WINNERS of the Andover Town Centre Partnership (ATCP) treasure trail were presented with their prizes last Thursday afternoon in the High Street.

The trail was developed in conjunction with Andover’s Great Outdoors, borough councillor Iris Andersen and the Andover Advertiser saw participants searching in the windows of 20 Andover town centre businesses.

The businesses involved were drawn from all areas of the centre of town and the aim was to find the item in their window which wouldn’t usually be there – before returning their completed forms to the Advertiser offices.

All entries with the correct item listed for each of the 20 businesses were entered into a prize draw, with the following prizes being awarded to the three lucky winners – Erin Hill, Harry Campbell and jointly Sam and Arianna Hunt.

Prizes included a family meal for two adults and two children at Andover Wimpy, family tickets for The Lights theatre and afternoon tea at the Travelling Cupcake, Andover.

Town centre manager, Chris Gregory, said: “This event is the first in a series of new projects being planned by the new Andover Town Centre Partnership in order to showcase our fantastic town and we hope that as many people as possible will take part.

“Special thanks must go to Janet Thorpe and Iris Andersen, who have been instrumental in this project, all of the participating businesses and also to all those who have provided prizes.”
