STAFF at an Andover pub are toasting their success after being recognised for the quality of their ale.

The John Russell Fox in High Street has been listed in the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) Good Beer Guide 2015.

The listing came after local branch members nominated the Wetherspoon pub following regular visits over the past few months.

The Andover CAMRA branch commended the pub for the quality and selection of ales on offer as well as its customer service, decor and atmosphere.

The pub’s manager, Corey Thomas, said: “I am delighted that The John Russell Fox has been recognised for the quality of its real ales by CAMRA members.

“We offer our customers an excellent range of real ales at all times, including those from regional brewers and microbrewers, as well as hosting our own beer festivals.

“Staff at the pub work hard to ensure that the real ales on offer are kept in firstclass condition at all times and the pub’s inclusion in the guide highlights this.”
