DORSET’S picturesque Jurassic Coast provided the backdrop for an Andover school’s geography studies.
GCSE pupils from Harrow Way Community School took part in the field trip to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door to learn about tourism, changes to the area and their social impact.
Rebecca Calder, Harrow Way curriculum leader for geography, said: “The subject explores both social environments such as culture and economies with the physical environment such as landscape and resource.
“These two aspects of geography were ideally illustrated in Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door so it was the perfect venue for our students to conduct their analysis.”
