POLICE are appealing for information to a brazen burglary which took place to a property in Cricketers Way while the family slept upstairs on Saturday night. (21 February) The offenders gained access to the house in Hobbs Square through the front door and stole tablet computers, phones and car keys.
A maroon Nissan Juke with black wing mirrors and black alloy wheels (HJ64 EKA) was then stolen from a nearby parking area. The car was subsequently retrieved, but the electronic devices remain missing.
Detective Constable Alexander Hall from the Northern Investigation Team said: “This burglary happened overnight and I am keen to speak to anyone who might have seen anything unusual in the area or who might have seen the car driving around.”
