THE Andover Advertiser has received reports of strange goings on last Thursday morning.
One Thruxton resident has contacted the paper to say that she and several others in the village experienced bizarre occurrences with their electricity powered utilities.
She said: “At 5am our dog was desperate to go out.
“I put our kitchen lights on, let the dog out then put the utility room lights on.
“They then started flashing like disco lights, nothing came on, and our dog wouldn’t come back in.
“We then had a power cut and it went back to normal.
“Apparently elsewhere in the village people had flashing lights, garage doors opening and radios turning on.
“I contacted the electricity board to ask if there had been a power surge but they said they had never heard of anything like that with things switching on before.”
Did you notice anything strange?
If so we’d love to hear it.
