ANDOVER police are appealing for victims of garage break-ins to come forward following a spate of burglaries.

Since the second week of February, three reports were received of garages in King Arthurs Way being broken into and police are aware of further break-ins where the owners have not yet made a report.

Sergeant Steve Parker from the Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “There are a number of garages which have been broken into that we don’t know who the owners are.”

“We want to hear from anybody who has got any information.  People who have had their garage broken into and have not reported it and reports of people hanging around or trying door handles.”

Current reports suggest that the break-ins have been carried out overnight and by wrenching the handles of the doors.

Anyone who has been a victim of the garage break-ins or has any information regarding the incidents is urged to contact Andover Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
