Town centre pub up for sale: Phil Cockcroft is retiring from the Southampton Arms
A POPULAR boozer is on the market after boss Phil Cockcroft announced his retirement.
The Southampton Arms, on Winchester Road, is now for sale.
Mr Cockcroft revealed the news on his pub's Facebook page last night.
He said: "It is with regret that I announce my retirement from the Southampton Arms, the pub is on the market.
"We have no time frame and it's still business as usual."
