POLICE are on the look out for a gang of thieves who stole paint from a school and used it to damage an old fashioned phone box.
The incident took place between 11.30pm on Friday 20 March and 9.45 on Saturday morning after the intruders broke into Testbourne Community School in Whitchurch.
Police say that the thieves gained entry by breaking a window before stealing several plastic bottles of paint and using it to damage a phonebox on Queens Street and a vehicle parked in The Knowlings.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who might have been in the Micheldever Road and Queens Street area at the time or who might have seen anyone acting suspiciously or possibly carrying plastic bottles.
