FIRE: Road closed following thatched blaze
POLICE have been forced to close a road after a blaze broke out from a thatched cottage this afternoon.
Emergency services have closed both lanes of the B3048 between the A303 and Longparish after they received a call about a thatch fire in the Middleway.
It is not yet clear when the road will re-open but Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service are advising that drivers avoid the area.
