SHOCKING: The 12-inch knife next to a pen
THIS is the 12-inch knife handed in to police by a member of the public who found it in a play park in Andover.
The shocking find, on Sunday, has led to the arrest of a 17-year-old boy from the town.
Hampshire Police said he had been arrested on suspicion of offences including theft and possesion of a blade in a public place.
He has been bailed until May 8, pending further enquiries.
The force did not say which park in Andover it was found in.
