Police confirm response to reports of a firearm in Andover yesterday afternoon
HAMPSHIRE Police have confirmed that they responded to reports of a firearm sighting in Andover yesterday afternoon.
Officers received an anonymous call at 3.37pm reporting the sighting of a firearm in the Roman Way area.
Armed response and dog units were deployed and carried out a thorough search of the area but no witnesses or victims were located or made themselves known.
CCTV footage was also reviewed but the incident has been recorded as no crime identified.
