CARNIVAL day has finally arrived in Andover - here's what to expect...
- The weather forecast is 25 degrees and warm sun - so don't forget the suncream.
- The event is free and officially supported by the Andover Advertiser.
- Vigo Recreation Grounds will once again be the focus of the family fun day commencing at 12 noon until 9pm.
- The main stage will feature both local and national artists performing a wide variety of music
- Fairground rides/stalls, the table top circus, a variety of craft and charity stalls, beer tent, the Pimms tent and numerous food and beverage outlets.
- Besides the fun day the 5th road procession for both floats and walkers will move through the streets of Andover starting at 4pm at East Portway and ending at Vigo. The procession will feature the new Andover carnival prince and princess, who were selected through a competition in the Advertiser in the spring.
