A FEMALE drink driver has been disqualified from driving, fined and made the subject of a community rehabilitation order after pleading guilty to driving while nearly four times over the legal drink drive limit near Andover.
Debbie Shafer, of Oak Tree Road, Thatcham, admitted driving a Vauxhall Astra along Station Road, Grateley, while over the limit on an occasion at the beginning of August when she appeared before magistrates in Basingstoke recently.
The 44-year-old was found to have 137 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath in her system, nearly four times the legal limit.
She was disqualified from driving for 32 months, fined £400 and made the subject of a community rehabilitation order.
Shafer was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60, Crown Prosecution costs of £85 and criminal courts charges of £150.
