AN ANDOVER man has been charged with assault after two police officers were injured at the scene of a road crash.
Thames Valley Police were called to Combe Road in Hungerford on Saturday after a van ended up in a ditch.
The officers, a man and a woman, were taken to hospital and later discharged. Two people were arrested.
Mark Davies, 45, of Kingsway Gardens, Andover, was charged with two counts of assault with intent to resist arrest and one of criminal damage.
A 50-year-old man, also from Andover, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been bailed until 19 October.
Davies is due to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court.
