OFFICERS are appealing for information after a 14-year-old girl had her purse stolen.
The victim was in Argos, Old Basing Mall, Basingstoke, at about 1.15pm on Monday when she left her purse by the catalogues.
A few minutes later a man picked it up, took out £75 cash and then left the purse and the rest of the contents in the store.
The man police want to speak to is described as: Asian, wearing a plain white long sleeved top, blue jeans and black trainers with a white stripe. He was wearing a watch on his left wrist and had short dark hair.
PC Mike Cowell, said: “Do you have any information about this incident, or do you recognise the man in the CCTV? I would urge anyone with information to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
