A BATH man has been given a conditional discharge after pleading guilty to assaulting a woman and a police officer in Andover.
Brett Spencer, of George Street, Bath, admitted assaulting the woman on two occasions in Andover in July when he appeared before magistrates in Basingstoke recently.
The 28-year-old also pleaded guilty to resisting Ben Foster, a police officer in the execution of his duty and to criminal damage to a wall, jewellery box and a picture frame belonging to the woman.
Magistrates sentenced Spencer to a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered him to pay a £15 victim surcharge, £85 Crown Prosecution costs and £150 criminal courts charges.
