Police are appealing for witnesses to a spree of criminal damage after about 40 vehicles were vandalised across Hampshire, including in Grateley and Nether Wallop.

It is believed the suspects were travelling in a green Seat people carrier and damaged vehicles during a three hour period between 3.40-6.40pm yesterday.

Vehicles were also targeted in Timsbury, Furzley, Bramshaw, Brook, Poulner and Picket Post.

Officers from Hampshire Constabulary, working with colleagues from Dorset Police and the National Police Air Service, arrested seven people on suspicion of Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Damage.
