A 'medical incident' is said to be the cause of a crash in which two elderly people had to be freed from a car in Batchelors Barn Road this morning.
A spokesman from South Central Ambulance Service say that the crash was likely to have been caused by a 'medical incident' prior to the collision.
The spokesman added that the reason one person was taken to Salisbury District Hospital was likely to have been for the medical reason and not due to injuries sustained by the crash.
It is unclear as to whether or not a second car was involved.
