Trout fisher fined for unlicensed fishing in an Andover lake
A TROUT fisher has been fined for fishing in an Andover lake without a licence.
Patrick Turnbull was issued with a £200 fine after pleading guilty to unlicensed fishing by means of a rod and line in Wherwell Trout Lake near Andover when he appeared before magistrates in Basingstoke recently.
The 52-year-old, of The Drive, Rickmansworth, was also ordered to a £20 victim surcharge, £127 costs and criminal courts charges of £150.
