AN ANDOVER teen has alleged an assault was made against him by a popular town centre takeaway this afternoon.
Luke Harland, 19, said that he made a report to the police after a staff member from Chick-O-Land 'whacked one of his hands' while trying to get a refund.
Mr Harland ordered a meal from the takeaway last night but claimed his meal was cold and one of the items was incorrect.
He said he rang to complain and have the order corrected last night but claimed staff were disagreeable.
This afternoon Mr Harland visited the shop to ask for a refund but a staff member refused to give a refund and told him to leave the shop.
Ergin Taycur, owner of Chick-O-Land, has said that Mr Harland has previously been banned from the takeaway and had been abusive to staff before the video (inset) was taken.
Police have confirmed that they received an allegation of assault and are looking into the matter.
