POLICE are appealing for information after a brazen burglar broke into an Andover home before driving off with the owner's expensive car and bottles of Champagne.
The offender broke into the property, in Sarson Lane, Amport, between 11am on Saturday 30 April and 11.30am on Monday 2 May, making off with the home owner's Audi A3 and a variety of expensive items.
These include jewellery, electronic equipment and bottles of wine and Champagne.
Police say the burglar, who gained entry through a window, also stole presents of sentimental value.
The home owners were said to be away at the time.
Hampshire Constabulary would like to speak to anyone who saw anybody acting suspiciously in this area over the bank holiday weekend.
