POLICE have issued an appeal after two sheep were 'extensively injured' during a vicious dog attack in Test Valley.
The incident took place in Platiford, West Wellow, this afternoon (Sunday 22 May) between 12.30pm and 1pm.
The sheep, which are kept in a large back garden of a family home, required urgent veterinary care following the attack by two dogs.
Witnesses have described the dogs as a black and golden Labrador breeds.
A third dog, described as a white Westie, was part of the pack but did not attack the sheep.
