A CERTAIN furry family shut up their shop in London to make a return to Whitchurch over the weekend.
The Sylvanian Families Summer Shopping Weekend came to the Whitchurch Silk Mill on June 18-19.
In collaboration with the Gill Nethercott Centre and the silk mill, the well-loved figures could make their annual visit to the town.
As part of the free event, tickets to visit the Whitchurch Silk Mill Museum cost nothing.
Within the community centre the Sylvanian Families had a shopping centre, plus displays and activities over the silk mill’s lawns.
They even managed a special song and dance performances during their weekend jaunt.
The Sylvanian Families took to social media to make a plea to their fans.
They said: “A very big thank you to all those who attended our Sylvanian Families shopping weekend in Whitchurch.
“It was so wonderful to see such enthusiastic people enjoying our event.
“We will be posting some pictures shortly but sadly, Millie Buckley had a problem with her camera during the weekend and we are missing certain pictures.
“If you have any to share with us, particularly general pics of the characters and the crowds, aquabead activities and/or face painting, we would love to see them.”
