A STATE-OF-THE-ART sports facility is to be built in Andover as part of the “largest community-funded project the town has ever seen”, the Advertiser can exclusively reveal.
Anton Junior School is being supported by the Jamie G Sporting Trust to construct the hall, which will be available for both community and school use, in its grounds.
Fundraising is already well under way for the £500,000 scheme, detailed plans are being drawn up and are due to be submitted to the council for approval this autumn and the project is scheduled for completion by late 2017.
