AN Andover beggar has been made the subject of a Criminal Behaviour Order after admitting to begging in the town centre.
Anthony Jenkyn Williams pleaded guilty to begging in the alleyway of George Yard when he appeared in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court recently.
The 43-year-old, of The Bridge on Bridge Street, was given a six-month conditional discharge and made the subject of a Criminal Behaviour Order for two years requiring him not to approach any person for money in a public place.
He was also ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.
