A NEW Pizza Hut store opened in Andover this week, bringing around 20 new jobs to the town.
The new takeaway store, on Mylen Road, began trading yesterday afternoon.
It is the first Pizza Hut store to open in the town.
A spokesperson said: "We are delighted to announce that Pizza Hut Delivery Mylen Road is now open for business.
"We are looking forward to serving our first customers with our delicious range of pizzas, which will be available for delivery or collection."
Plans were originally lodged to convert the building from a mobility shop into a Pizza hut takeaway at the beginning of 2015.
Mylen Road residents submitted strong objections to the plans, with homeowners raising particular fears over increased traffic, noise and smell.
However after a long debate, Test Valley Borough Council's Northern Area Planning Committee passed through the plans earlier this year.
