AN ANDOVER beggar has been fined more than £200 after pleading guilty to begging in the town centre.
Anthony Jenkyn Williams pleaded guilty to begging in a number of locations in and around Andover town centre, and therefore breaking a Criminal Behaviour Order which required him not to approach any person for money in a public place, when he appeared in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court recently.
The 43-year-old, of The Bridge on Bridge Street, was fined a total of £230 including a £200 fine and a victim surcharge fund of £30.
