AN ANDOVER women who stole over £300 of clothing and accessories from TK Maxx has been ordered to pay the money back from her benefits.
35-year-old Rebecca Ponting pleaded guilty to stealing the items, totalling £331, from the Churchill Retail Park store on 5 December 2016.
She also pleaded guilty to stealing an "unknown" amount of items from Sainsburys on 11 days later.
Ponting, of Bridge Street, was ordered to pay back the money in compensation by Basingstoke Magistrates' Court last week.
However due to her "lack of means", the money will instead be deducted from her benefits.
