A MAN has been fined more than £500 after pleading guilty to possessing a knife and damaging a wing mirror.
Ashleigh Robert Thomas Fisher pleaded guilty to having a lock knife, without good reason or lawful authority, on Hadrian Road and to damaging a Volvo's wing mirror on Christmas Eve last year when he appeared in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court recently.
The 24-year-old, of Watermills Close, was fined a total of £515, including a £300 fine, victim services surcharge of £30, costs of £85 and compensation of £100.
Magistrates also ordered the knife to be forfeited and destroyed.
