SOLSTICE Services in Amesbury was closed yesterday while police dealt with a "suspicious phone call".
Police were alerted at just before 2pm after two businesses received calls saying there was a bomb in the building.
Officers swooped on Solstice Park, closed roads and cordoned off an area around the businesses.
A dog trained in finding explosives was brought in as police searched the area.
Amesbury Police posted a message on Facebook to say the services were closed at just beofre 2.30pm.
But it turned out to be a false alarm and the cordon was lifted at 4.15pm.
At the time, a Wiltshire Police spokesman said: "We are currently dealing with an incident at Solstice Park – we received a call reporting a suspicious phone call to a premises at the location.
"As a precaution, a number of the businesses at the park have been evacuated and a cordon is in place. We advise that you avoid the area until further notice."
Solstice Services includes a number of fast-food restaurants, a filling station and Holiday Inn.
The situation at Solstice Services is now resolved and businesses are open as usual. Thank you for your patience.
