A MAN who was questioned by police after another man was found with a "serious neck injury" on Augusta Park was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
Police have now revealed that a 34-year-old man, from Andover, was arrested on suspicion of committing grievous bodily with intent, following an incident at a house in Yarn Walk on Wednesday 22 February.
Police were called to the property at 4.18am and found a man with a "serious neck injury".
Officers cordoned off a house, while the man was taken to Salisbury Hospital for treatment on the serious, but not life threatening, injury.
Officers remained at the house in Yarn Walk for the rest of the day.
A 34-year-old man was later arrested and has now been bailed until April 28 pending further enquiries.
