RESIDENTS and business owners are being called to action to help beautify Andover town centre.
Andover Town Tidy Day will take place on Friday, March 3, with dozens of people taking to the streets to give the town a spring clean.
The annual event, which has been running for three years, attracted support from about 35 people last year and organisers are hoping for an even better turnout this time around.
Andover town centre manager, Chris Gregory, said: “The aim of the tidy day is to try and beautify some of the harder to reach areas of town.
“Last year we had some great support from the likes of Simplyhealth who supplied the majority of people between them.
“We also had business owners andresidents join us too and we are aiming to get more this year.
“Hopefully we can get around 40-50 people.”
The tidy will begin at Andover Guildhall at 9am with helpers working their way around the town during the hour-long event.
Organisers say they will provide all volunteers with supplies, including gloves and bags.
Those wishing to take part should contact Chris Gregory prior to the event. Contact chris@heartflood.co.uk or call 07854 027080.
