A THUG who assaulted two people and later threatened two others in Andover has been jailed for eight weeks.
Douglas Peter Strike, of no fixed abode, was handed the prison sentence following an appearance at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court last week.
The 28-year-old pleaded guilty to committing two assaults, by beating, on Thursday 16 March.
Strike also pleaded guilty to threatening three people, one of which was a victim of his previous assault, all on Tuesday 21 March.
The 28-year-old also admitted a charge of stealing a £29.99 bottle of Whisky from Tesco.
As well as an eight week prison sentence, Strike was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge fund of £115.
