POLICE have launched an investigation following a serious sexual assault in Andover.

The 27-year-old female victim reported to police she had been assaulted around the back of The Complete Party shop, Junction Road.

Police say the alleged incident took place between the late hours of Wednesday, June 7 and Monday, June 12.

Officers are now appealing for anyone with information to contact them, quoting reference number 44170223584 on 101.
