AS we all know the public facilities in the town centre remain closed, unfortunately, and this was Test Valley Borough Council’s (TVBC) decision while supporting the new toilet scheme.
As a local business owner in the town, I speak to a lot of the public and I must say, they do not appreciate having to walk around in circles trying to find toilet facilities, not just for them, but for the elderly and the disabled.
I’d recently been shown that Mrs Amy Attrill has started a petition to get an additional ‘changing places’ to the toilets in Andover. Now what I don’t understand is that it said they have the support from Test Valley Borough Council leader Phil North, even though he is onboard with this other scheme.
Surely it is wise to just open the toilets back up and stop wasting money, or are we still running in circles?
