AN appeal has been launched after a hit-and-run on the A342 in Ludgershall.

At around 4.20pm on Sunday, 15 October, a woman aged in her 20s was driving a white Honda Civic westbound on the A342 in front of a Renault Traffic and had slowed to a stop at the junction of the A346 towards Collingbourne Ducis.

The Renault stopped behind her and a Vauxhall Corsa, which was being driven behind the Renault overtook and then collided with the Honda.

The male driver of the Vauxhall, believed to be an Asian man, got out of his car and started shouting at the woman driving the Honda, before he then got into the passenger seat of the Renault which was driven off by a man, described as white but very tanned.

The Vauxhall was abandoned at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or saw the vehicles prior to the collision, is being urged to email Joshua.bliss@wiltshire.pnn.police.uk or call 101.
